Territory Flag Benefits

Once placed and created, it claims a 150-meter territory and keeps your base structures safe.

Without a flag, fences and gates start to despawn after 7 days of no interaction.
With a flag raised, the lifetime of all base elements is automatically refreshed.
The flag also protects other items like vehicles and pelts (these show a small flag icon next to their name).

Building a flag pole doesn't automatically claim a territory! After building the pole, attach a flag and keep it lowered. Then, scroll with the mouse wheel to access the Create Territory option and claim the area. Once that’s done, raise the flag. You can manage your territory members anytime by pressing B.

Extra protection:

Enemies can't dismantle your walls from the inside unless your flagpole is first destroyed with a sledgehammer.
Enemies also can’t build or deploy in your territory (except traps).

Step‑by‑Step Build

Deploy the Base Frame

Craft and place the Flag Pole Kit to create the triangular base frame.

Build the Base

Insert 1 Wooden Log into the frame. Use a Shovel to drive it vertically into the ground.
